Name that Tudor
An interactive game where players guess the identity of eight famous Tudors, using the biographical information given. Reading each clue gradually reveals a picture of the mystery Tudor. The challenge is to guess the person’s identity using as few clues as possible and without revealing the complete picture.
He Just Can't Kick It With His Foot
This audio poem, by the new Literacy Time PLUS Poet-in-residence, Paul Cookson has a humorous football theme, with musical accompaniment and some simple animation. The poem has great rhythm and rhyme, making it perfect for this month’s National Year of Reading theme – Rhythm and Rhyme.
Cakes fit for a King
This recipe (an example of an instruction text) for Maid of Honour cakes is believed to date back to Tudor times. The information text panel could stimulate discussion and further research as to the origin of the cakes
