Guest editor wanted!
7 Jan 2008
Wanted: A committed and creative early years professional willing to join the Nursery Ed team to share their ideas and enthusiasm and help plan their very own issue!
If you have the qualities described above then you could be just the person we’re looking for to join our next Guest Editor programme. Last year enthusiastic Reception teacher, Nicole Lefebvre-Fry, came top of the class when she was chosen to take the editor’s chair.
“Being a guest editor is not as daunting as I expected! It was an honour and I had a super time learning and working on the magazine. Thank you for inviting me”

So, what does being a guest editor involve?
You will be invited to our offices in Leamington Spa for two days during the start of the school summer holidays to work with the Nursery Ed team planning a future issue of the magazine. You will get an insight into how the magazines are made, and have the chance to share your enthusiasm and knowledge to help the team come up with some fantastic content ideas.
A few months later, you will join us again for a day in the autumn half-term to see your ideas coming to life.
How do I enter?
If you work in the early years sector and would like to share your enthusiasm, all you have to do is visit www.scholastic.co.uk/nurseryedplus to find out more. Alternatively send your details and why you think you should be our next guest editor, to ‘Guest Editor’, Nursery Education PLUS, Villiers House, Clarendon Avenue, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV32 5PR. All entries have to be in by Friday 30 May 2008.
Taking part in the programme is a great chance for you to show the world what you can do, as well as prove the dedication and passion you have for your role. It will also give your setting or school a great boost in the community and can you imagine how excited the children will be when they spot you in a magazine in WH Smith?
What’s more, during your time with us you will eat like a king, make new friends and be sent home with a box-full of goodies for your setting, so what are you waiting for?
NO PREVIOUS MAGAZINE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Terms & conditions
